Do you require a radiator power flush?
If you require a radiator power flush, you have come to the right place. Here at My London Tradesmen, we can provide you with an affordable radiator power flush by qualified and experienced heating engineers.
A radiator power flush is sometimes a term used for a Power Flush or Power Flushing. Many people do not realise this, but a radiator power flush is an affordable solution to common central heating problems. If you have experienced weird sounds from your boiler, annoying leakages from your radiator or cold homes due to cold spots on your radiator, you know exactly what we are talking about. Having a simple radiator power flush will mean those harrowing problems will be a thing of the past.
You are probably wondering – ‘if they are common problems, what is actually causing such vexing issues to your central heating system?’ In all homes, the efficiency of the central heating system will dramatically reduce over time leading to those common central heating problems. As water is continuously flowing throughout all the components of the central heating system, it causes the inside of the radiators and pipes to corrode. This corroding forms a build up of hydrogen and iron oxide sludge inside the central heating system. That sludge accumulates further inside the systems and prevents the water from then flowing properly. It is a vicious cycle. Performing a radiator power flush will get rid of that annoying sludge from inside the radiator and pipes so it can again work at an optimum level of functioning.
The radiator power flush is performed by a qualified and experienced heating engineer. The engineer attaches the power flushing machine to tails of the radiator and pumps water and a specifically formulated chemical agent through the whole system. Once the system has been purged of the sludge, the engineers also pump clean water in the system to bring it back to a neutral pH level. This process can take anything from 4 to 8 hours depending on the size of your radiators and the sludge build up level. You may also opt to have a MagnaClean filter installed after the radiator power flush to reduce a reoccurrence of sludge built up in your system.
