Dual Fuel Cooker Installation

A dual fuel cooker installation is similar to a freestanding cooker installation; however a dual fuel cooker requires both gas and electric sources to be able to function. The wiring for a dual fuel cooker will need to be hard wired whilst the gas is connected using a flexible hose.

Ensure you have a cooker point already installed before you carry out a dual fuel cooker installation because if you do not have one, depending on the cooker, you may not be able to install the cooker and you would have to contact an electrician to make a new cooker point.

It is imperative that you never try to complete a dual fuel cooker installation yourself as this is not only illegal but could also be potentially very dangerous.
