22nd <\/sup>– 27th<\/sup> October is \u2018Big Energy Saving Week\u2019. This is a national campaign coordinated by the Citizens Advice Bureau and the Energy Saving Trust to help people reduce their fuel bills. As part of this week your local Citizens Advice Bureau will be offering a number of drop in sessions where energy advisers can offer you useful tips on how to make your home more energy efficient.<\/p>\n

The aim of \u2018Big Energy Saving Week\u2019 is to raise awareness about the numerous ways which you can minimise the amount of energy you use in your home.\u00a0 Many of these methods are as easy as switching to energy saving light bulbs, or adding loft and wall insulation. There will also be the opportunity this week to discover through price comparison sites whether your current energy supplier is offering you the best deal possible. Switching energy suppliers could save you up to \u00a3200<\/a>!<\/p>\n

At some Citizens Advise Bureaus, there is even the chance to pick up some free small energy saving devices! To discover more about what energy saving events are being held this week in your local area\u00a0 visit the \u2018handy events finder\u2019 section of the Citizens Advise Bureau<\/a> website.<\/p>\n
